The space
Welcome to the penthouse at Hauptstraße 80 — the top floor of a newly finished building in Hinterbrühl, with wide views over the village to the Vienna Woods.
Floor-to-ceiling glazing connects the large living room to a private terrace that wraps along the roofline, with an open concrete frame, an outdoor dining table and a view over the rooftops to the forested slopes beyond. From the balcony, a spiral staircase leads up to the roof, with open views across the village and the Vienna Woods. Inside, a large corner sofa — which converts into a 160 × 200 cm double bed — and bold orange armchairs sit beneath a large tapestry-style artwork, with a smart TV beside the kitchen. An oval dining table and a writing desk sit beside the fully equipped kitchen, which has a breakfast bar, oven, hob, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and a Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine.
Three bedrooms under the sloping roof each have a 180 × 200 cm double bed, a landscape mural, deep-blue velvet drapes and a wardrobe; two of them have a TV. Two bathrooms (one with a walk-in shower, the other with a walk-in shower, a bathtub and twin washbasins) and a separate WC make sharing easy. Underfloor heating, Wi-Fi and a washing machine complete the home.

The neighbourhood
Hinterbrühl is a green village on the edge of the Vienna Woods (Wienerwald), just south-west of Vienna and next to the historic town of Mödling. Walking trails lead from the village into the wooded hills of the Föhrenberge nature park.
The Seegrotte — a former mine with one of Europe's largest underground lakes and boat tours — is in Hinterbrühl itself. The Höldrichsmühle, associated with Franz Schubert, Burg Liechtenstein in Maria Enzersdorf, and the old town of Mödling with its cafés and castle ruin are all a short drive away.
For everyday needs, a BILLA supermarket and a pharmacy are on Hauptstraße, the village's main street. Gasthaus zur Weintraube serves traditional Austrian food, and the Felsenheuriger Freudorfer is a classic Heuriger for local wine and regional dishes.

Other things to note
Hauptstraße 80 is a newly completed building with a lift, which also serves the underground garage. Some finishing work in the grounds, the entrance corridors and the stairwell may still be under way during autumn 2026.

Getting around
A car is the most convenient way to explore the area: Vienna city centre is about 25–35 minutes away and Vienna International Airport around 30–40 minutes, depending on traffic. Parking is free along Hauptstraße.
By public transport, bus lines 264 and 265 connect Hinterbrühl with Mödling railway station, where frequent trains run into Vienna; allow 45–60 minutes in total to the city centre. Timetables and tickets are available in the VOR AnachB app. Taxis and pre-booked airport transfers offer a door-to-door alternative.
